In the past few months, Tata Steel has been given a hard time over the propo sed sale of its UK plants.
But there is another side to Tata. The progressive organisation has been sponsoring the Hay on Wye literary festival for the past three years.
There is even a “Tent Tent”, which this year hosted everyone from Joan Bakewell to (James Bond film director) Sam Mendes, Salman Rushdie, Germaine Greer and Margaret Drabble.

Is there a “madness” gene? The book certainly has a dramatic start in its portrayal of how mental illness can apparently be inherited – “Madness, it turns out, has been among the Mukherjees for at least two generations”
