THERE are some Hindi films that represent everything that is wrong in modern-day Bol- lywood and this overhyped comedy is defi- nitely one of them.
The paper-thin plot of the slapstick comedy revolves around three desperate men who want to marry a trio of wealthy sisters and will do whatever it takes to impress their over- bearing father. While this may seem like an entertaining premise, it is poorly executed by two directors clearly out of their depth and a mindless screenplay that makes little sense.
Not surprisingly, there is over-acting and mostly overblown jokes that fall flat, includ- ing terrible ones making fun of disabilities. Even the so-called masses in India who apparently like these kinds of ‘entertainers’ will find the whole premise hard to digest and insulting to their intelligence. It’s a wonder why so many stars agreed to be a part of the film unless, of course, they were paid huge amounts of money and wanted an extended holiday in the UK.
Don’t waste your precious time on this terrible third instalment because it will make you feel angry instead of happy, like it is sup- posed to do. Hopefully this will be an end to the nonsense and there won’t be a part four.
